Front Line Health Care Worker Enjoys Downtime with Family

Here is one of my favourite families that I have been photographing for years. My hat goes off to mom for her tireless efforts as a Toronto hospital doctor.

The best time of day for a family portrait at your home is when the front of your house or apartment is in shade. The reason why is that faces look much better without the harsh light and shadows that the sun casts from above. For most families this means choosing a time either before noon or later in the day when the light gets low. On the day of the session, if it is cloudy then timing is no longer an issue.

Book your porch portrait session here. 15 minutes. Three high resolution images to download and enjoy. Additional images and prints may be purchased separately.

Location: Humewood, Toronto.

1/640; f/4.5; ISO 500; 110.0 mm.
